Understanding Our Solar System

The Solar System is completely wide open. Almost everywhere we go, I´m sure we would learn a lot.

Disclaimer: The content of this blog is about how I personally approach our lessons in earth and life science subjects. I will be sharing my journey and my reflections in our lessons during our synchronous class. All the contents of this blog are just my reflections and opinions.

To be honest, in my first synchronous class in the subject or earth and life science, I was a bit surprise because the first thing studied was the different solar systems related to the Greek methodology. it was just surprising because I don´t know and I dont remember studying like that. but yeah, it was a good start and I really learned a lot on my first day of class in earth and life science subject.

What is solar system? What are the parts of the sun? Why is earth peculiar?

Based on what I have learned from my class, the solar system is the sun and all the objects that orbit around it. the sun is orbited by planets, asteroids, comets, and other things. Our sun is composed of eight parts. These are the core, which is the center of the sun, the radiative zone, which is the section of the solar interior , the convection zone, the photosphere, the chromosphere, the corona, the sun spot, and the solar flare. And lastly, why is the earth peculiar? simply because it is the only planet that is habitable.

It was a good start, the topic/lesson was very interesting, and I´m looking forward to learn more about our solar system and our universe. And I am sure that everyone would love to know more about it. This blog will end here. See you on the next blog!
